Kalunga II

Professor Modelo announces Kaluga II, an event done together with the Black Movement of Juara,MT, Brazil. This event includes an homage to black beauty, a show case of black talent, live African dance presentations by schools, and a panel with professors in what will be Juara's 11th state capoeira exchange. This event is in partnership with the State University of Mato Grosso-UNEMAT.

Meaning of Kaluga
Kalunga is the name given to the slave descendants whom maintained their origins up until the 21st century, remaining isolated from the rest of the world in Chapada dos Veadeiros, resisting any form of domination.
